Joy E. Fox is a Partner at Clarendon Group. She has significant experience developing and managing strategic communications plans across government, politics, and business. She served as a Senior Advisor to Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Robert E. Rubin, and currently leads Clarendon’s work for Princeton Theological Seminary, among other clients. Beyond her work at Clarendon, Fox is the owner and publisher of Beacon Media, a community newspaper company where she began her career.
Fox served as the Director of Communications to former Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo. Prior to her time in the Governor’s office, Fox served as Governor Raimondo’s Transition Director and a Deputy Campaign Manager. She also served as a Deputy Chief of Staff handling communications when Raimondo served as Rhode Island General Treasurer.
Fox previously served as the Director of Communications and Community Relations for former U.S. Congressman Jim Langevin (D-RI) and as the Senior Information/Public Relations Specialist for the Rhode Island Department of Corrections. She began her career as a reporter and editor in both newspapers and television. She serves as chair of the Board of Trustees for Sophia Academy, an all-girls middle school in Providence, R.I.
