Kath Connolly specializes in communication and public engagement. Her firm, Breakfast All Day, serves clients including universities, film festivals, foundations and political candidates seeking strategy, program development and creative engagement. As a proud “nerd whisperer,” she works with a range of scholars and thinkers to help share their work through TED-style presentations, effective op-eds and other storytelling platforms. She spent a decade building external affairs for a nationally-recognized K-8 school known for helping low-income families achieve. Kath served as Senior Associate Director at the Swearer Center for Public Service at Brown University, a pioneer in civic engagement in higher education. She has had the honor of helping a number of non-profits grow and currently chairs the board of idealist.org, a global network of non-profits and idealists.

As a creative practitioner, Kath founded Card Carrying Liberal, a greeting card company that channeled funds into swing states. She recently developed a line of vintage tea cups that spread feminist political ideas one sip at a time. She serves as an advisor to the John Nicholas Brown Center for Public Humanities and the Office of Congressman David Cicilline.
