Meg Geoghegan is the Senior Communications Associate at Clarendon Group, and has experience rooted in storytelling, from her start as a community journalist to public relations work across politics, education, and government.
Prior to joining the Clarendon team, Geoghegan was the Communications Director for the Rhode Island Department of Education, serving two Commissioners of Education and leading the state’s communications efforts around state intervention in the struggling Providence school system. She previously worked as the Director of Communications for U.S. Congressman Jim Langevin.
Geoghegan began her career as a reporter-turned-editor of the Cranston Herald and Johnston Sun Rise weekly newspapers in Rhode Island. She has a BA in Journalism from Northeastern University.
Geoghegan serves as vice chair of the Board of Directors for the College Crusade of Rhode Island.
