Taylor Scott has 15 years of experience supporting executive leaders to influence thinking, forge partnerships, and create consensus with stakeholders at all levels through strategic planning, marketing and communications. Scott began her career in media relations and publicity in the book publishing industry before pivoting to higher education, where she has led successful integrated marketing and communications operations at Simmons College and Mount Holyoke College.
Most recently Scott held the position of Chief of Staff and Communications at Rhode Island School of Design where she wrote the institutional strategic plan and stewarded its adoption through an intensive communications campaign. Scott has also worked as a private communications consultant for a broad range of organizations including Qatar Museum Authority, Earthwatch, VitalCorps, Fertility Planit, and the National Consumer Law Center.
